JUICE CLEANSES

Our bodies are designed to do intermittent fasting to release toxins, be healthier, and live longer. If you want the benefits from fasting with a program you can design to fit your life then our customizable juice cleansing programs may be the answer that you have been looking for. Since cooking and processing food can alter and reduce the amount of nutrients we receive, drinking fresh juice can help us absorb all the nutrients from the vegetables or fruits we are eating as quickly and efficiently as possible. A juice cleanse bathes your cells in nutrients while helping you release toxins and elevating you to optimal health. The benefits of juice fasting go beyond toxin release from your body and an abundant supply of nutrients. It can also help boost your immune system, aid in digestion, and get rid of a few extra pounds. Perhaps the biggest benefit of juice cleansing is that it can help you become more conscious of the food you are eating so you can continue to make more healthful choices in the future. On a juice cleanse, it can become very apparent just how good (or bad) we have been eating, and the effect of that realization can last well after the cleanse is over.

Better for the Environment

Locally sourced food is not only better for your health – it’s better for the environment. With less preservatives required and a lower carbon footprint, transporting food and plants allows wildlife to thrive.

IMPORTANCE OF HYDRATION

HYDRATION IS KEY. When you juice fast, you have to make a conscious effort to drink enough fluid throughout the day. The key to juice fasting is hydration. When you are experiencing healing reactions (lethargy, headaches, light-headedness, joint pains, etc) these are signs that your body is detoxifying and expelling old toxins, throwing them temporarily into the bloodstream for it to be eliminated. This is what fresh juices do! You need to drink water to flush these toxins out. On a normal day when you DON’T do a cleanse you can calculate how much water you need by taking your body weight in pounds, divide it into two and that’s the number of ounces you will need in a day. So, for example: Your body weight = 160 pounds. Divide into two = 80 pounds. Your requirement = 80 ounces of water / 8-oz a glass = TEN 8-oz glasses. When you’re doing a juice cleanse, you should be drinking about that much water. Caffeine-free herbal teas are great to sip throughout the day. Peppermint, Ginger, Dandelion, and Chamomile teas are excellent to soothe the tummy and support your digestion and relaxation.
